Growing Up

My son is growing up, and in a way, so am I.  He's two and it's hard keeping up with him: he knows his colors, and he comprehends a lot more than I can ever keep up with, he knows how to count up to 5 by himself and 10 with assistance. He recognises a few letters. And he knows a few words in French. But with all this growing he's doing, he's trying to express his independence, and he's very sensitive. He cries at the end of Mickey Mouse Road Rally because there's a sad sounding song at the end. (As of now he isn't allowed to watch it) and sad songs. He's independent in trying to do things without me and trying to be a "boss" of his cousin Lainey.

With all of this, he's not the only one learning. I'm learning. How to teach him, how to keep up with his thought processes, how to... potty train? Yeah, wasn't ready for that one. Yet, it happened. All of this happened. And I'm not ready for him to stop being my baby. He'll always be my baby. But he doesn't need holding all the time, and he doesn't like hugs (because it requires holding) and I'm growing up with him. Learning to let him go and moving forward with him.

Tomorrow's The Big Day!!

Wow, we're here, alive. And I guess I'm taking it pretty calmly for now :) (who knows about tomorrow:) The rehearsal was pretty good, we ran through it a few times... and I think we'll do great tomorrow! The bridesmaids liked (I hope) the gifts I gave them... Here's a pic of one:

Then there were a few things inside... It's not much, I know, but I put thought into it.

I've been thinking about life is going to change, and I'm looking forward to it. It's hard not to, the "adventure" and spending my life with "my head" since I've been walking around without one for years now (according to Sister Sallie) Ok, It was funnier at Perkins today than it appears on this post.

Everyone gathered at Fox Hills Resort and we were waiting on a few lost family members of Joel's *ahem* not naming any names... coughBENcough Just kidding! It was actually kind of funny :) My future nice Gloria is our flower girl and she looked like she was having a good time walking up the aisle. Same with my Cousin Joe (he's shy around alot of people) The Tuxes all fit everyone, except two people who haven't tried them on yet. The dresses are all good and mine, I hope, is perfect!

11 Days

Man, I should of started this yesterday... Then it could've been "12 days of wedding prep". Oh well.... It's 11 days then... Grrr! hahaha!

So, It's 11 days to the wedding, and what is this bride doing?  Blogging! Just kidding! I've been working on gifts for my side of the bridal party, and the ring bearer. I can't post pictures yet, because Anna will see them and it won't be a surprise!! I'll post if probably after the Rehersal Dinner (I'm giving the gifts then)

Also what this bride-to-be is doing is stressing. Haha! What bride doesn't stress?? I'm trying not to, really I am!! Anyway, that's about it.... Except for a picture of this:

Big news and questions...

Okay, I'm getting married in October now ^_^ and I have to get two or three exams doen a week in order to graduate before I get married :/ eep! So, sorry everyone, this log will be on hold until I get married :( sorry everyone!! God Bless you all!!!!!!!

She is a Caucasion female, she wears a red and white bonnet and a matching red and white apron with lace on the hem.

Her name is "Sue." And I wanted to let you all know about her. I first discovered her in Branson, Missouri. And promplty lost touch with her until today. At first she was all in peices, but then I put her to rights and made her feel good about herself again, if I do say so myself :)

Oh, you would like to see her?? Well, here she is:

Joel named her, and even made her a theme song:

*sung to the tune of "I Had a Little Turtle"*

I had a Little Dolly

Her name was tiny Sue

I put her in a tea pot

To see what she could do

She burned her hands and fingers

And then she gave a squeal

I took out little dolly

And put her on the  window sill!

So. I haven't posted in awhile and just thought I'd ask a few questions and see how everyone feels about certain sitations and how they would react. You don't have to answer all of them, just whatever you feel like. Here it goes:

1) What type of toothpaste do you use?

2) Do you have a favorite color, if so what is it?

3) You have a choice to take ONE book to a desert island. That is your ONLY form of entertainment. What book would you bring?

4) What would you do if someone were gossiping about you? How would you put a stop to it?

5) How would you react if one of your siblings just walked in the door and all of a sudden said "Today I learned in Social studies about how the civil war started... by the way, you look pretty."

Wondering... *gasp!* now THAT'S dangerous... especially for me :D

I'm totally wondering, should I give my blog a makeover? have a new set-up and new template design? I'm just in the mood for some change. Just wondering if everyone would kind of tell me if they like the change idea or not.

Some thoughts I had were, somehow changing the name maybe, make it more apliable to me... I don't even know if that's a possibility... Also, I would like to somehow make the template look more "open" if that's even possible too.... Just Please let me know what you think... cuz I know what I'm thinking and I'd like to know if "ya'll" would let me know what you think :) sorry I'm a bit crazy right now ^_^
